Sorry for the delay, but here is the first blog of the 2019-2020 school year!  Here is the homework for 8th grade:

Religion: Memorize Hymn 446 v. 1-4; Write a paragraph about what it means to be a proactive Christian teen.
Catechism:  Watch the videos on Canvas for tomorrow.  Answer questions 1-11 on the worksheet for tomorrow.  Read p. 20-25 in the Catechism and take the Martin Luther quiz by Thursday.
Math:  No assignment
Science:  No assignment
History:  Decide what mini-project you are doing.  There will be a work day tomorrow, and the project will be due on Thursday.
Art:  No assignment
Music:  p. 1-3 due on Tuesday for the Tuesday Music Group.  Same assignment will be due on Thursday for the Thursday Group.
Vocabulary Workshop:  p. 17-20 due on Tuesday for the Tuesday VW Group.  Same assignment will be due on Thursday for the Thursday group.
Literature:  Write a paragraph of how Christians view grit and perseverance in their lives.  Use the passages we discussed in class. 
Writing:  Nothing to turn in, but think about what topic you may choose for your research paper.

Today, we started with Catechism class. Math was the same. In history, we learned about the Dred Scott Decision.
